A: memory or concentration problems.
B: sore throat
C: tender cervical or axillary lymph nodes (The cervical and axillary lymph nodes are in your armpit and neck, under the skin where you can't see them. A doctor or an anatomy book can tell you where
they are.)
D: muscle pain
E: joint pain
F: headaches which are different from the ones you had before you became ill.
G: unrefreshing sleep
H: It sometimes takes you a long time (at least 24 hours) to recover from physical activity.

This list is based on the 1994 CDC diagnosis guide lines.

CFIDS is short for Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. Other names for CFIDS are : post- viral fatigue syndrome, and neuromyasthenia. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is the British and Canadian name for CFIDS. There are other names.

Fibromyalgia: "A group of common nonarticular rheumatic disorders characterized by pain, tenderness, and stiffness of the muscles, areas of tendon insertions, and adjacent soft-tissue structures." (Merck Manual). Many People who have CFIDS also have Fibromyalgia. It is even possible that they are different symptom patterns causes by the same disease, but no one knows for sure.
